Before focusing on residential real estate, Mike worked as a Business Broker, advising on business sales and acquisitions as a member of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). He later spent several years as a senior contract negotiator for the U.S. Department of Defense, leading complex procurement negotiations aligned with national defense objectives. These experiences sharpened his skills in deal-making, risk management, and disciplined negotiation, while reinforcing the importance of accountability and client advocacy.

Alongside his professional background, Mike has built a strong foundation in real estate investing through hands-on experience, ongoing education, and active participation in investor networks. As a BiggerPockets Pro member, he stays current on market trends, financing strategies, and investor-driven insights used by successful operators nationwide. He regularly attends industry events such as the BiggerPockets Conference and the BetterLife Summit, and has developed trusted relationships with lenders, 1031 exchange intermediaries, and other real estate professionals—especially throughout San Diego—to help ensure his clients benefit from informed, seamless transactions.

A San Diego native with strong family ties to the Navy, Mike has deep respect for the service and sacrifices of active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. That connection shapes his approach to real estate and fuels his passion for helping military families, investors, and everyday buyers and sellers create long-term stability and opportunity through smart real estate decisions.
